Kay Sarver Art

I grew up in the mid-west where I also attended the University of Cincinnati as a Fine Arts Major, concentrating on painting as my media. After a few years in college, some life changes and a move to Florida, I later migrated with my new young family to Houston, Texas in 1978.

In 2000 I made a trip down into Mexico for the first time, not knowing just how much this would change my life and the direction of my art. After several series were produced based upon my perspective of the people I encountered from these travels south of the border, it was not long before I realized my passion, and was seriously pursuing my art career based upon this unfolding body of work.
